The selection process is always carried out with the direct involvement of the Founder – CEO, Andrea Filippetti<\/a>, and with the support of external consultants who are highly specialized in the startup ecosystem. These consultants are engaged for specific activities (particularly technical aspects, sector-specific matters, legal, and\/or fiscal issues).
A key feature of our approach is the commitment to reviewing and providing feedback to every project we take on<\/strong>. Our philosophy emphasizes a consistent evaluation of each investment. Additionally, we focus on building a personal relationship with founders and co-founders from the very beginning. This approach is essential to foster potential support and future collaboration. Our goal is to develop a strong and trustworthy bond with all the startups we interact with, not just those we invest in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

At this stage, we conduct a more in-depth and detailed review (often, for practical reasons, remotely). This deeper review allows us to get to know the founders directly (not only as professionals but, most importantly, as individuals), dive into the project’s status , validation and execution, KPIs, ambitions, and the team’s focus on their goals<\/strong>, which we consider essential elements for the success of a Startup project at this stage. If it is deemed necessary or beneficial to proceed with more significant investments, we may then involve other Angel Investors or VC partners wher we have established long cooperation relationships. Only in such cases will additional individuals or companies be brought into the decision-making process to achieve considerably larger investment amounts. Though this inevitably leads to a bit longer process timeline.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Once the projects of interest have been selected, we proceed with the finalization and signing of investment agreements with the involved Companies<\/strong> (a process for which we also rely on our external consultants for legal and regulatory matters).

In this phase, if applicable (though only in a minority of cases and where agreed with the founders themselves), a potential operational involvement and\/or support between our Company and the Startup\/SME can be also agreed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

One of the main features is the speed of our process<\/strong>, thanks to our streamlined operational structure and flat decision-making hierarchy. This allows us to complete a project, on average, within 30-45 days from the initial pitch deck review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timeline may slightly extend only if other Angels or VC partners are involved, but it still remains within a maximum limit of 2 months.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
